Just a little vent. My period ended yesterday. I had gained like 3 lbs, which is unusual for me, but chalked it up to water retention because of my cycle. I definitely haven’t eaten over my calories in this time period, minus one day for my birthday. I’m super strict about weighing my food and logging everything. I’ve been intentional about eating less sodium and drinking a ton of water.
I had been (TMI warning) constipated for 10 days and thought maybe that was where the weight was coming from. That problem has also since been resolved but my weight still isn’t going down at all. I haven’t changed my exercise, which is just walking my dog for an hour everyday. It’s so discouraging to know I’m doing everything I’m supposed to be doing but the scale is UP instead of down.
