No longer am I having a PB&J with a devil dog for lunch every day. Instead I can make various wraps or quesadillas, loaded with chicken, vegetables, and with fruit/veggies on the side - healthier and more filling. Dinners are more interesting now too - stir fries, chilli, stew, soup, chicken, fish, etc.
As for baking, that’s helped me with portion control. I’ve had a couple people express shock by how I’m able to lose weight and bake. Heck, someone asked me if I even ate the foods I baked. Yup, I do! Just in moderation. I don’t need 3 cookies, I can have one and be satisfied.
I’ve come to appreciate food a lot more now, and it’s been fun!
