I work at a university, and we are getting ready to open our doors back to all of our students. With that comes a job change and an incredible amount of stress. During the pandemic I hit my goal weight and maintained for the last four months.
I found this week that every day I came home after work, I started snacking and just couldn’t stop. Chips, chocolate, fruit, you name it, I ate it. And I couldn’t stop eating until I go to sleep.
I make sure that I eat enough while I’m in the office, and I try to take some time to be mindful every day after work to re-center myself. I have to exercise in the mornings because of schedules with my partner and our kid.
I’ve already started putting weight back on. I recognize that it’s probably water weight at this point, but it’s still frustrating. Does anyone have any advice? Have you experienced this? I’m feeling a bit frustrated and lost.
I lost all of my weight living a different life than I am transitioning into.
