Hey everyone! So the pandemic took a lot out of me, or, rather, it put a lot of extra weight onto me. This weekend I decided to do something about it. I just got home from my first workout in about 6 months. Needless to say I feel like shit physically but actually very good mentally.
Over the weekend I spent a lot of time preparing and researching apps and tracking methods and I stumbled across this new one called AutoRep. I tried it out today and it was really helpful so I just thought I'd share.
How it works is you set up your phone near you during your workout and it has some sort of motion tracking technology that identifies the exercise you're doing. Then it automatically tracks your reps and rest periods per workout and creates like a video log database of what you did.
I found it really helpful to actually see what I'm doing and the feedback I get on my form is going to be really helpful, especially once I get into the bigger and more serious lifts. Anyways, I found it to be really useful so I thought that someone else might as well!
Obligatory: no I didn't make this or have any affiliation. But with that being said I'd love to hear some of the apps, programs, or trackers that you guys recommend!
