I got on the treadmill yesterday to do some walking (don't @ me it's raining outside) and like usual I try to keep track (sneakily) with the people beside me. It's how I motivate myself.
The lady beside me was WALKING at a 4mph speed (that's a jog for my short self) so I just went at a 3 to keep up as well as I can. That's all I can see from where I'm at so we're both going along. When she left I could see the flash of her time on the screen.
2 hours. At a 4mph walking speed, no stops, no slowing down.
I really wanted to ask her what magic she doing that made her able to be on a treadmill that long. 30 minutes for me and I'm so bored I can't function. And thank her since I did push me to not walk for 30 and lay around for 30, but to walk for an hour.
I've now set a new goal and I have to find the time to do it. I have to see if I'm mentally strong enough to beat 2 hours.
