Up 5 pounds from my lowest and feeling confused.

24/M/6'0 194lb Hi just for a small info dump I went from 260 lb to 194 lb in two years. It's been ups and downs with dieting and exercise. And of course the pandemic. But two weeks ago I finally made it into the 100s and this Sunday I hit my lowest at 194. I have spent the last few months meal prepping and clean eating to get me here.

Where I'm confused is this. Sunday I weighed 194 lb and today now Thursday I weigh 199 lb. I haven't changed anything about my diet, I have it indulged in anyway, I haven't eaten more calories, the only thing that I have done differently is that I am now going to the gym daily.

I live alone in a studio apartment in Los Angeles and money is pretty tight so I can't really buy snacks or treats to break my diet. So all that is in my apartment food wise are the healthy options and meal prep meals that I make for myself on a weekly basis.

My daily calorie intake per my fitness pal is set for 1500 calories to lose 2 lb a week. I eat roughly 1200 to 1500 a day. My average daily meal is two eggs two egg whites and a protein shake for breakfast. A strawberry apple smoothie for lunch (100 g strawberries 100 g apple 100 g low-fat yogurt 50 g of water). A meal prepped meal of rice broccoli and chicken breast. And then depending on whether or not I need more calories for the day I'll add two slices of bread or an additional egg for the fat.

I'm at a calorie deficit, I know I'm not cheating, and I'm exercising more and more frequently. Yet I gained 5 lb in 4 days?

What could it be? Water weight?

This isn't a detrimental setback for me in any way, I'm sure it's something simple and trivial and if I just push past it it'll work itself out. I'm more just interested in the cause of why this could be.
