Struggling to lose 100 lbs

Short-term complaint: I only lost 1.5 lbs in July even though I’ve consistently stayed at 1000-1500 kcal every day all month.

Long-term:

2013 to 2016, I gained 50 lbs from back-to-back high-risk pregnancies in my late 20s.

2016 to 2019, I gained another 50 lbs from stress (struggling with two young kids, 10-30 hours overtime every week, grad school, all while bouncing on and off at least 3 different antidepressants known to cause weight gain).

2020 sucked for the world, but it was a relief for me because it was like the roller coaster to hell of my life finally stopped. I dropped grad school, worked way less overtime, got a better handle on mental health from less stress, and eventually lost 12 lbs in the fall when I got around to focusing on it. Managed to even keep it off through the holidays.

Did NOT manage to keep it off when busy season stress hit again in February 2021, regained 16 lbs in 3 months due to near-daily McDonalds comfort binges. Garbage in, garbage out.

So here I am again. I lost 5 pounds in May from literally just going to McDonald’s less often. Nothing in June because I started drinking more alcohol, then got really consistent again in July: avoided work happy hour, focused on veggies and lean protein, started tracking calories closer and kept locked in at 1000-1500 daily at 260lbs.

And after 30 days consistency, I have only 1.5 lbs loss, plus some unreal mood swings, to show for it.

Help :( :( :(
