NSV: I didn’t walk

First of all, I wanted to thank this sub and everyone in it for keeping me going. Everyone posting and seeing everyone’s stories is really inspiring me.

Ok, now on to my victory. A month an a half ago when I started this current journey that I hope to be for good this time, I started couch to 5k as a free means of exercise. At first during the “running” portions I was in pain. My ankles and lower legs were on fire. Y’all told me that I don’t have to run all out, I just had to jog a consistent rate. That advice has helped an insane amount.

Today I did something that I didn’t think I’d be able to do. I jogged for 20 mins straight! No pain, just proud! This workout (week 5 day 3) was something that I was dreading. I didn’t think that I would be able to go for that long. I’ve been doing each workout twice because it was progressing too quick for me and I did the one before today 4 times just because I didn’t think I was ready. I went into it telling myself that if I had to stop and walk during it, it was ok, and that I would do this workout until I got it. Well, I got it!

As I said, I do each workout twice so I’ll going to try to do this again tomorrow, wish me luck!
