Hey all. I wanna start off by saying I know, in theory, what to do. I've lost 100lbs before and even qualified as a personal trainer a few years ago. I can help other people on their journeys but I don't for the life of me know how to apply the advice to myself, so it's time to be humble and ask for help.
I gained the pandemic weight and I'm feeling awful about myself. I'm no longer concentrating on getting my abs back, I just want to get rid of my muffin top. Like, when I put on pants I look like someone put a bag of water in a small cup.
Stats: M, 160lbs, 5'5". Strength train 4x per week with cardio 2x per week. Desk job, working from home.
Need to drop my calories back down to 1700, maybe 1600, but I'm really anxious about it. I don't have faith in my ability to stick to it, and I struggle to get in enough protein every day at the moment. ADHD really impacts my ability to plan meals and resist temptation.
Could i get some suggestions on how I can fit ~130g of protein into 1700 calories? I don't particularly like to drink my calories but I do tend to have a protein shake once per day simply because it's the best protein/calorie ratio.
This stuff weighs on my mind a lot but I don't have anyone to talk to about it or help me out.
