Back in 2013, I was 200 pounds, size 12, and very sedentary. In 2014, I began weight lifting and made it a weekly routine. I also do yoga. Fastforward to today, I'm 168 pounds and 5'7. I wear size 4. My waist is under 25 inches. If you're wondering my diet, I carb cycle and calorie cycle. I'll have occasional days that are essentially refeeds that are high in calories and carbs. On vacations and holidays, I don't count anything and take a mental break. Below is a current photo of me.
Something I've learned is that BMI is not a good indicator of health and fitness. My health markers are all great with the exception of ibs that I've had since childhood (which is what I see my gastroenterologist for).
