I just came back from a 3 day long trip to a hill area out of the state. Ate like 4000 calories a day. Didnt care about that because i felt like it was okay, dint give it a second thought. My weight loss journey started 4 months ago and i feel good, lost around 8kgs (17 pounds i guess) and ate 1400 calories i day (500 cal deficit from tdee), i didnt have no problem with it, gave myself treats once in two weeks and still stayed under goal or maintenance. Unlike before, i crash dieted and dint know nothing about calories and was grumpy all the time. Now to the point, i weigh 3kgs (6-7lbs) more than i did before going. It was only a three day trip so i guess it is water weight? I dont know a lot about this. So like what now? It will take me a month to lose the weight or is it just water weight and i actually gained only a pound? Thanks, am a newbie to this so dont judge lol. P.s also thanks to this subreddit now i know how losing weight actually is done. Cheers.
