Do you think I should get a personal coach?

Hi, I’ve been struggling for years on losing weight. I’m at my highest of 209lb. I’ve been trying to lose weight on and off for about 5 years and have been really unsuccessful. As mentioned previously in post, I emotionally eat, ESPECIALLY when I’m stressed. I don’t care what it is as long as it taste good. Anyways, I’m part of this weight loss group on FB. And the girl who created it is friends with a personal coach. I don’t believe she has used her, but idk. Anyways she had this coach on for a q&a and she answered questions greatly with such knowledge on fitness and health. I asked if she did coaching for people and she gave me her contact info. She doesn’t seem like one of those pyramid scheme things, but again who knows. Anyways, she was on weight loss journey herself and she looks amazing now! I read her contract and it has her or some other coaches from selection/food plan (if you want)/strength training coach (if you want). The only thing is idk if it’s for me. For a basic plan: anytime calling, weekly weigh-ins, meeting 1-on-1, going over MyFitnessPal and macros, it would cost $350 a month for 3 months. I will be choosing the cheapest plan since who knows if I’ll like it. I think that’s a lot, but idk since I’ve never had a coach before. My only thing that really peaked my interest is this is a different approach and maybe this can motivate me more than just doing this by myself. Maybe this is why I failed a lot in the past bc tbh I don’t know what I’m doing. I don’t have control when it comes to food, tbh after work or even before work I’m lazy on working out. Thoughts? Please be nice, thanks!
