Question- cardio vs weight training

So, for months I was seeing a personal trainer two-three times a week. We did interval hit training which was part cardio ,part resistance ,part weights. I am a total noob , as well as obese, never have gone to the gym before . She kicked my butt lol. I definitely saw some pounds gone as well as inches. Fast forward I am in Ontario that has been on lockdown for awhile, so my workouts are at home now. I work out everyday now with one day doing a video from “team body project” or a workout from my trainer, and the other day I do a basic weight routine using various hand weights 10,15 lbs and a kettle ball. My Apple Watch says I burn 450-650 calories burned on the video and trainer days but hardly 200 calories burned during the weigh routines . And I die from doing both lol Seeing as I have a lot of a weight to lose should I skip the weights and do more calorie burning exercises ? Sorry if I sound stupid just confused lol. I am also keeping my calories around 1200 or so a day
