People who have fluctuated weight a lot, how did you finally lose it and keep it off?

Since I was around 14 I have fluctuated up and down around 60 lbs, going between being very overweight and in really good shape 4 times. I'm 22 and currently overweight but don't have the same motivation anymore to lose weight because I fear that I will most likely just gain the weight back again. For my personal health I know this isn't the right course of action so I am reaching out for advice from people who have been in my position but finally lost the weight and managed to keep it off for at least 2 years.

Thank you for any advice or motivation. I hope it can also help anyone that feels like they are in the same boat
