How do I get rid of my “B” Shaped Belly?

(24F, 5’9”, SW: 185, CW: 170, GW: 130-ish?)

My biggest insecurity has always been my “B” shaped belly.

It’s never represented in media, or p*rn for that matter. I don’t know of anyone who has the same body shape as I have. The google results that resemble my tummy are all folks who are/have been pregnant - which I have not. It’s impossible to wear most jeans, despite being a size 10/12 (31 in waist). In High School, I was a size 6/8 at 145lbs, and remember having this insecurity. I haven’t worn a bathing suit in over a decade because my belly just looks so abnormal.

Quarantine has been really difficult, but one of the boons has been that I finally have time to hit the gym every day for the foreseeable future, and a surplus of time to focus on eating right and establishing great patterns. I’m already 15lbs down from September, and hoping to continue a steady decline with no end goal in mind, other than feeling confident (though I have a feeling that my ability to do so has been tied to this tummy ever since I can remember).

I started seeing a chiropractor recently, because I thought it might be anterior pelvic tilt, but he says I’m pretty level. I’ve also started working on my abs more. I have absolutely zero core muscle, to be fair, but I don’t know that this ABsence is correlated. Could it be posture???

I want to know if anybody else deals with this, or maybe has in the past. I also just want to know if it’s even possible to lose. I want so badly to blame it on genetics, but despite most people in my family being above-average in BMI, nobody else has it. Not grandparents, or siblings, or my parents.

I’m just trying to tackle it head-on, and want to know how I might go about doing this!
