So, 2016 through 2018, I lost just shy of 100 lbs. Since then, I've pretty much regained it. What broke me was criticism of what I ate and folks saying that I "look so different. You can stop now." At the time, I was pretty consistently eating half a chicken breast, 1-2 cups vegetable (with broccoli being the far most common choice), and 1/2 - 1 cup rice for each lunch and dinner (depending on my calorie goal, also for my second lunch or afternoon 'snack'). That's just what worked for me, but folks criticised it, and I felt ashamed for eating it some days. I'd vary out the vegetable occasionally, the spices used, and the variety rice or sweet potato I ate. I took vitamins and fish oil as well, just to be safe. But, is there anything inherently wrong with repeatedly eating the same meal over and over again, both from a physical aspect as well as a mental aspect?
