Balancing unhealthy and healthy eating??

So I started this fitness challenge on Jan 1st, and I haven't eaten sugar (except fruit) since then. I probably won't have sugar for the rest of the month. I've had a couple of slip ups with healthy eating during the first few days, but from Jan 11th through the rest of the month, we're doing a point system. You get points for going to the gym and exercising, and you lose points for eating unhealthy. I have $20 on the line and a chance of winning some money, so I have good motivation to lose weight. We're also doing it in teams of 2, and I don't wanna let my partner down. Once the challenge is over though, I don't wanna go back to my old habits, but I also don't wanna give up sugar and unhealthy food forever. I'm also a little worried because I won't have the same motivation since the challenge will be over. So, what's the balance that you guys have with healthy and unhealthy eating? How often do you give yourself a cheat meal or drink a soda? I feel like I need a specific rule (ie only 2 junk meals/week kind of thing). If it's subjective (only eat junk once in a while), I'll give in to temptation more easily. Details: Height- 5'1" CW- 132 lbs GW- 120ish lbs Gender- F Age- 21
