Tips for a moderate to intense active person to lose excess fat?

Hello, I'm currently a part time student, part time employee at a job that caters to food service and with that comes lots of moving around and being constantly on your feet so it's a job that becomes moderately active from the beginning of my shift gradually increasing to the end which are normally in about 6-7 hour intervals not counting breaks (breaking this down since I want to CICO as well)

I'm 6'0 and weigh approximately 170lbs give or take a pound of two and it's my second year that I've been seriously working out in the afternoons and whenever I have time on my days off besides studying. I normally just hop on my bike and go wherever the road takes me usually for an hour which is a great method of cardio by I've realized it's not enough to burn off what's recommended and I want to try something more intricate or high intensity.

Does anyone have any open suggestions on either diets or excercise routines/methods of fat burning workouts. (HIIT, running, etc) I can do?

I'm wholly aware diet is key but I just want to aquire knowledge on the bare minimum of what is required.
