My doctor recommended one this week as a result of persistent GI problems.
I’m posting this on this sub because I’m on a lose it journey and I was wondering if anyone else trying to shed some lbs has also been recommended to follow an elimination diet for whatever health reasons.
I’m in general not a fan of restriction-based diets, but it looks like an elimination protocol calls for mainly fish and veggies. Sounds healthy but also like it’ll get boring quick. Anyone who’s been on one have any advice?
Mine is supposed to be at least 5 weeks, so to late December. I imagine with such a drastic change, I may drop 2 lb a week? I haven’t consistently maintained that rate in a long time but I’m not sure I’ll have much choice if I can’t indulge in my favorites without blowing the whole thing.
