Advice after one week losing weight

Hello I'm new here and had a couple of questions and looking for advice. First stats 5'10 38 years old male weigh 309. Downloaded my fitness pal and started counting calories. Goal is to stay around 2100 calories. I was used to eating whatever I wanted the last few years (like whole pizzas or 3 burgers at a time consistently)and that is the reason I became so overweight and now have a hard time even tying my shoes. I used to lift weights and be in somewhat decent shape in my 20's but this is where I'm at now. I am trying to stick with this change because of my health for me and my kids. After the first week I was down 10 pounds which is great but is that normal or healthy? It is suppose to be 2lbs a week. I've been mainly eating healthy foods like oats for breakfast, salads, and chickenbreasts. Should I up my calories a little bit? Also I've not been doing any extra exercises yet but will be planning on them soon.

Thanks in advance for any advice
