Need Some Reassurance

Apologies in advance for format; I'm on my phone.

I just recently began losing weight after I had a baby a few weeks ago. I haven't been pushing myself because I know my body is still in recovery from birth, but my OB did say taking walks and eating healthier were perfectly fine things for me to begin doing. Things were going well, lost water weight the first couple weeks and then progress slowed which was expected. I got to 211lbs (down from 242 at my baby's birth) and then the next day my weight was 215.4lbs. I chalked it up to water weight from the two cheeseburgers (singular cheat meal) I'd had the day before. I drank more water and ate cleaner, and the next day it was still 215.4lbs. It has been that exact weight now for about a week, no change what so ever. I consume between 1,400-1,700 calories per day and I drink water, nothing else but the occasional diet root beer. I get around 6,000 steps per day and I try to take 20 minute walks at least every couple days (as my toddler and newborn will allow). I know they don't recommend weighing oneself every day but for me it's something that helps me feel not as inclined to binge eat for some reason. That being said, I'm really hoping it's just stubborn water weight but some reassurance would do wonders right now.
