Admittedly I have not been on the wagon very long, but for the past 9 days I have worked out every day except one, walked 2-4 hours every day, and had only oatmeal, salad, and stir fry for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. In that time none of my clothes fit better and I have gained 3 pounds!!!
I am small framed and within my BMI but have gained 10 (now 13) pounds over quarantine that I would like to lose. It's all in my face and belly and when I saw myself in a photo recently I was shocked and motivated. Well, I just saw another photo of myself taken yesterday and I look just as awful! It's very disappointing to say the least.
So tonight I ordered super oily Indian takeout and ate too much of it. I'll go back to my healthy regime tomorrow but with modified expectations. Can't wait for this year to be over so I can get back to my regular activities that kept me in shape.
Sigh.....
