Did you ever feel like you’re in someone else’s body?

I guess this can go either way, people who have gained and felt like a different person or people who have lost and felt like a different person.

I am working on losing and although I’m noticing weekly changes, I’m still...me. I’m both looking forward to and dreading the day when my general “me-ness” goes away (the shape of my arms, rolls in my belly etc) and my body is someone I don’t recognize. My goal was to be healthier but as I get closer to my first goal weight I feel like I’m losing someone I knew for a very long time.

I’m just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and actually felt...sad?...you woke up to be someone else entirely.
