absolutely terrified of exercise??

Hi everyone!

F22 5'8 SW 72 kg (159 lbs) CW 65.6 kg (145 lbs)

Over the last few months I've lost about 14 lbs, most of it in the last 2 months (it's been slightly on and off). It's all been the result of counting calories and sticking to a deficit, and even though I can't see a physical difference yet, I'm feeling really good, motivated, and much mentally healthier because it's helped me finally stop binge-eating.

However, this whole time I've been putting off exercising, partly because I know that I always fail when I try to change too many things at once and changing my diet was a huge mental effort, but also because I'm honestly scared of exercising. It's something I've tried to get into so many times in the past, but have never been able to stick to and I think I'm just really nervous that if I set exercise goals for myself and fail then I might start to give up on this whole healthy lifestyle that I've been feeling so good about??

I really want to try and start the couch to 5 k program soon. I've (briefly) enjoyed running in the past and I think it's also good for my mental health since getting some fresh air during quarantine really boosts my mood. My plan is to just do the three C25k runs per week to start with, then gradually incorporate other things like yoga.

I'm just so scared of failure that I'm not even starting, which is ridiculous! Caring for myself through my diet has made me feel so much better and I know this is the next step, but I'm worried if I mess up then I'll feel discouraged about everything else, too.

I guess I'm just hoping that maybe someone else out there has been in this situation themselves or might have some advice, as silly as this question is?
