I hate being skinny fat

You read the title, man. Last 2 months I've been working out with dumbbells and bench pressing and now I'm exercising with pushups and burpees and other exercises. I definitely see change but it's not enough, I know you have to be consistent with your goal that's exactly what I'm doing but idk.....I've been eating less but i still kinda over eat. Now, I'm starting to eat healthy with eating avocado and eggs. And sweet potatoes with rice. But idk am I doing something wrong? All I know is, I hate my body, my man tidies, fat thighs, I just want to have a slim and thinner body. That's all I want. Please any advice at all?
