20, F, trying to lose weight. I have tried working out on and off but could never finish any one goal.
A couple of years ago I started working out for the first time in my life. I'd do glutes and abs mostly. Those were simple routines from YouTube or fitness apps without any equipment and were done at home. I'd feel massive burn and have sore legs the next day, abs would hurt when I laughed etc. I could never keep up the routines long enough to see any SV but I'd see NSV like clothes fitting better, more strength in legs etc.
I took up proper workout again. This time I followed Chloe Tung's routines and did it everyday. I saw NSV like some difference in how my clothes fit, how fat I looked etc. However, I'd only feel tired and break a good sweat which I love but no burn in my abs or butt. It makes me feel like I'm doing a bad job and demotivates me. I can't be worse at working out when I started right? I'm making sure to breathe properly, engage core, squeeze them but I can still walk and sit properly and everything.
Am I just reading too much into it?
