Weightloss - calorie counting?

Hello, english is not my first language so sorry about any mistakes

Im trying to lose weight i have about 50 or so kg to lose. (110 punds, thanks google)

It seems like most people in here and other subreddits about weightloss are counting calories, i did that for a few month but i mentally cant handle it. I become so restrictive and save a lot of my callories for the end of the day and then i go around all day being a little hungry.

ive also tried counting/tracking macros and that was even worse because i did not know what to eat, most of the times it ended with me in tears in the supermarket when i was trying to find som food i could eat.

Now im working with a coach who specialises in behaviour and my "food addiction" but it just goes so slow because im allowed to eat what i want i just need to feel in my body when to stop. Its intuitive eating and its so difficult.

Im sorry if im rambling i think i just wanna know if anybody out there are going through the same?

Hugs from Denmark :)
