Sorry for the clickbaity title,
but I just had to say this. Yes, the TDEE calculator might be spot on for you, but it definitely is completely wrong for other people.
I‘m dieting for over a month now and I have cut my calories back severly. I‘m 5‘9, 283, M and I have lost about 8lb in those 4 weeks. Some would say this is great but my TDEE calculator would say otherwise:
I should have a caloric deficit of about 1700-2000 a day as a sedentary person that does a bit of exercise and I am nowhere close to losing that much weight in a week.
Tracking all my food, weighing everything, only drink water and never cheat on my diet. I also exercise regularly. I should be losing close to 4lb a week not close to 2. How can this calculator be so far off? I really don‘t get it.
