Starting over again

Hi, I'm 26(f), 5'6" and the heaviest I have ever been at 230lbs. I've tried and tried to lose weight but realized I was doing too much too soon and overloading myself to the point that I crash and burn. I gained 40lbs over the summer and realized I couldn't live like this anymore. The real eye opener was realizing I would lose my breathe just by walking up ome flight of stairs. Since then I cut out soda and recently got a food journal to track what I'm eating. Due to previous eating related issues, I am not in a place to be counting calories or trying IF, no matter how much I want to. My biggest issue is maintaining the motivation and the willpower to treat myself properly, exercise, and be kind to myself even on bad days. I work over 50 hours a week as a grocery store HR manager and especially now, stress is getting the best of me. I feel like I'm doing what I can but also like I'm not doing nearly enough.
