Hello, just wanna ask you guys. What to do if your BMR is only 1000 calories a day? I have trouble dieting and losing my body fats because of that. My TDEE should be around 1150, since I do 20mins exercise 5 times a week. I heard that to lose weight I have to eat 500cals less a day, doesn't that means I can only eat around 700cals? By the way, I'm skinny fat. I don't want to just lose weights and be skinny but toned. I tried to exercise more by following YouTube videos such as those abs workout and arms workout to become lean and toned but couldn't. Over the course of a year, I only lost 4kg, and I do see my waistline and other parts losing inches, but my body fats stayed the same. Why so? As I heard that to lose body fats, it's mostly about diets, and I did try to do but doesn't make me lose body fats either. What kind of exercise do you think will lose my body fats and make me more toned?
And also, I find it hard to stop being hungry. It doesn't matter what I eat. I tried eating more protein and fats at one point. Also I even tried keto, but I get so hungry easily that will cause me to eat more. There's this one time when I ate 1200 calories in a meal filled with different kinds of food (vegs, meat, seafood). However 2 hours later, I will feel hungry again. Since I'm only able to eat 1200, it's making hard for me to maintain within the calories I should eat. I also find it hard to stick to a certain diet, since whatever I eat doesn't fill me. Recently, I start eating lots of junk food, but I kept it within 1200 calories a day. I know its unhealthy but thinking of eating healthy and still not feeling full in anyways sucks. I also has been doing intermittent fasting, in fact this is the only thing I'm able to keep at since I dont eat breakfast.
Another thing is, have any of you suffered coming from unhealthy family? Basically, it's hard to eat healthy surrounded by unhealthy people. My boyfriend always eats at night and likes to drink bubble tea or sweet drinks and also likes carbs, my mom LOVES carbs and always ask me to eat this and that, if I dont, she will be like I dont eat enough, my sis also just eat lots of junk food and carbs. My friends always invite me to hotpot and bbq meals, which is hard to control especially if they were to order a lot of food (I also dont want to reject them since I dont want lose my social life). I also have a lot of celebrations and parties, which is a must go, and it will make me feel guilty if I see people eat and I don't get to. Anyone have any idea on how to control this? I also tried to cook at some point, but I dont have the time to since most of the time I'm at work or in school, also my mom actually doesnt like me to cook since she says the kitchen is always oily when I cook xD Helps.
