Lost my first stone!

Just stepped on the scale again after a few weeks and have dropped (pretty much exactly, scale is bang on 12) a stone. I'm looking to be around... 10 and a half by the end of the year hopefully?

I've been going on rather long walks, with intervals of light jogging and restricting the food I eat, with the occasional treat. I was checking my scale regularly to no avail, it just didn't seem to be budging and I was losing hope.

Luckily today I was rewarded with a massive drop for my patience. I already feel so much physically alive than ever before, and I can't wait to continue losing weight.

Current plan is:

  • 4 Mile walks everyday (very little of this is done by jogging, I'm hoping to improve upon the jogging interval length soon).
  • Restricting myself to around 900 - 1,200 calories everyday, water is also drank quite frequently.
  • No excessive snacking, snacks are limited to a light yogurt with very little calories.
  • Cereals are limited to wheat-based cereal with sweeteners.
  • Lunch is usually a whole wheat bread sandwich with ham (Ham is my favourite sandwich filling anyway so I'm fine with that).
  • Dinner is whatever sort of salad I can concoct with ingredients with my veggies, they taste really good, too.

Hoping this is a good start!
