30 Day Accountability Challenge - Day 6

Hello losers,

Hump day. Blergh. Hope you killed it today!

Weight by end of month (200 lbs, preferably trend weight): 209.6, thanks scumbag uterus. Not really pleased but so it goes.

Stay within calorie range (1500 ish): 1550 ish planned. I owe this progress to myself, no ifs, ands or buts.

Exercise 5 days a week: Lunch walk maybe it today folks. 5/6 days.

Self-care time (journaling, working on love journals, beauty treatments, drawing 0/6 days): Therapy. Blergh.

Try a new recipe once a week: Sweet roasted chickpeas with nuts so far. 1/5 weeks.

50 pages of The Body Keeps the Score: Not today. X/50 pages.

No fast food, candy from the work dish or Starbucks: Check. 6 day(s).

Listen to my effing body: Feeling some anxiety today. Acknowledged & did some deep breathing & pacing. Also, just start my monthly penance for being a lady, stupid uterus.

Be more mindful & express gratitude, avoid the hedonic treadmill: Yesterday on my river trail walk, I saw a beaver. A real chonker & this area isn’t exactly known for beavers. That’s pretty damn cool. Beavers are also generally symbols of home building/stability & remembering to breath (they have giant lungs & are capable of holding their breath for 15 minutes). So, take that as you will.

How did your day go?
