So it’s been a just over a week since I’ve started changing my eating habits. (Technically 9 days... started on the 2nd of Jan!)
I’ve been doing IF with a mix of 18:6 and 20:4. I started out at 198lb and weighed myself this morning and am now down to 192.6!
For me personally I don’t really notice any physical differences yet (I mean it’s only been 9 days...) but my family have already started seeing a difference which is nice :)
It has been pretty challenging going completely cold turkey from my old eating habits (I know small changes are encouraged but for me cold turkey just works better) but I can definitely say it’s been worth it.
This week has really shown me how POOR my diet was. IF has been especially helpful, since restricting the time I eat has meant naturally I’ve just been eating less. I’ve also made sure to be mindful of what I’m eating but not so much counting calories exactly (I’ll still use MyFitnessPal to get a rough idea).
I’ve really been enjoying home cooking too, because not only can I see exactly what’s going into my food but it also just tastes so much better :)
I’m really happy with this small progress and hoping next week I can get out of the 190’s! :)
