Weight Loss for Everyone: These f*ing 10-12 lbs.

These f*ing 10-12 lbs.

I (40F) am 5’0” and weigh 115 lbs. I eat about 1200-1300 calories a day. I strength-train. The most cardio I do is running around after my two twin 10 year-old boys. Maybe once every couple of weeks I go for a 3-5 mile hike. I don’t have a desk job, but I’m not at the gym everyday or running around THAT much.

I have 10-12 lbs. to lose to be the weight I was before kids and right AFTER I had kids when I was breastfeeding. I don’t know what is wrong with me that I can’t eat healthy all the time. When I go out or if there are treats around, it’s like I think they don’t count or something. I’m embarrassed in front of other people to get a salad when everyone else has lamb chops and potatoes. If my kids make cupcakes, I’m eating ‘em. But, honestly, I really don’t eat that much. I never eat fast food. I don’t down a whole bag of chips or a whole pizza.

Is the weight I’m trying to get to just too low? Or do I really have to make an insane calorie cut + extra time at the gym to get that lean. It used to be so easy before. I wouldn’t do ANYTHING to lose the weight.

More than the pounds, is the poofy belly, loose skin, stretch marks, C-section scar. I’m divorced now and cannot imagine being with a guy who wasn’t with me through my childbirth.

Anyway, I guess this is more a rant, but if anyone has some real advice on how to get really through those last few pounds, I would be so grateful.

Thanks and HNY!
