Some more background info. I’m doing WW on the green plan and I feel like it’s going to stick this time. My mindset has changed. That said, I’m looking to introduce exercise into my daily routine.
I was doing Orange Theory for a while but I stopped because I was only able to go on Saturday mornings with my husband and it would kick my ass so much that I was unable to do anything else but recover the rest of the weekend. So it made it a bit difficult to actually do things like run errands and clean the house.
Plus I couldn’t go by myself during the week. This is embarrassing but this particular studio has the treadmills really close together and I’m not able to step up on the treadmill without something to hold on to. One day, an older and kind woman noticed my issue and offered me her arm to help me get up.
Though she was super nice about it, I was humiliated. I fought back tears during the rest of that class. After that, I decided I would not go back without my husband to help me. At least not until I lost enough weight that I could step up on the treadmill on my own. And our work schedules are not compatible during the week so we are limited to working out together on weekends.
Hence workout videos. I want something I can do in the privacy of my own home before I get ready for work. Something that doesn’t make me get down on the floor and back up. I’m not able to do that just yet. Something that is about a 20 to 30 minute workout and will kick my butt but is something I can do every day. Lastly, something that won’t piss off my downstairs neighbors too much. I live in a second floor apartment, if that makes a difference.
And my stats, if anyone needs it to make a recommendation. 5’5 female, 332 pounds. 32 years old.
