Men, how were your T levels before and after losing weight?

I'm a 22 year old guy, 300lbs at my heaviest currently 238, I had my T levels checked about a year ago when I was 260lbs and found out yesterday (I know weird delay but I forgot to ask for the specific numbers)

My T levels are around 250 (I forgot the specific measurement they're measured in) but that's almost 1/3rd of what they should be for someone my age

I'm currently 240lbs, so 50lbs overweight and inactive, has anyone been in my situation before and did losing the weight drastically effect your T levels? I don't have a lot of the typical symptoms of low T and my T levels could very well be up from what they were a year ago since I've lost 20+ lbs and changed my diet completely to cut out all fast food so maybe that will help but again I just want to hear from men who have been in a similar situation to me to see how simply losing the weight and working out helped your T levels because finding out my levels are low has made me incredibly unmotivated to bother doing anything but if I can fix it simply by losing weight then I want to use it as fuel to push me forward
