New to this sub, looking for advice on macro breakdowns. I have a good grasp on macros and tracking, just trying to figure out how I should go about it. This isn't my first time trying to loose weight. At my heaviest I was 280 lbs at 5'7", started exercising and cut down to 240 lbs. Two years ago I started taking nutrition and macro seriously after my dad died of a heart attack and managed to cut down from 240 to 185 lbs. Life happened (stress at work, son was born, etc.) and I find myself back at 235 lbs. I have been lifting hard the last 2 years and I know some of that weight is muscle (my 185 lbs pants still fit, my face isn't as full as it was last time I was 235). Last time I cut down I was eating 2200 calories at a breakdown of 40% P, 35% C, and 25% F. I read somewhere that a breakdown of 35% P, 25% C, and 40% F may more effective for my body type. I am currently working out 6 days a week, 3 days strength training, 3 days cardio. Thoughts?
