It is absolutely imperative that i lose weight. I have a herniated disk in my back and the only likely way it’ll get better is losing weight. I’ve been looking and whatnot and since i’m struggling to move and walk and whatnot, i’ve decided to try a calorie deficit. i used 3 different calorie things that tell me what i need to maintain weight. based on my measurements (360, 5’9, 20 years) i need about 3000-3500 to maintain weight. this first week i’ve been eating less than 2500 calories. starting small to stay realistic with myself. by the end of this month i’ll be down to around 1500-1700 calories. I’ve told myself i’ll only weigh myself once a week. wednesday.
I am very very nervous that come wednesday, i’ll see absolutely no progress. i’m not expecting much at all. But i’m expecting at LEAST one (1) pound. is this reasonable? Can i expect even a small loss like this?
beyond this, i’m hoping for at least 5 lbs lost a month.
i just need some advice and experince from y’all to help me calm down.
thank y’all in advance
