I achieved my new years goal(2019) 50 pounds

Over the course of 2018 I had a rough time. I was always eating out and when I'd cook, it was always fried or generally bad.

2019 comes along and I set my goal, to get to my recommended BMI(according to Google). I started at 230 and to be fair with myself, I started by cleaning out the panty fridge and freezer. I would eat some things and toss others.

My second move was to cut soda to near zero and reduce any other sugar intake to near zero. Next I switched my carbs from white to wheat bread and rice. I used my blender (lazy man's blessing) to get re accustomed to eating fruits.

Whatever was cheap worked. I would also add broccoli, spinach kale as I felt needed. I have a pretty strong stomach so tasting good wasn't a necessity.

Only excercise I did was walk my dogs and to appointments a few times a month.

This year's goal is trimming stomach fat and adding muscle!

Stay strong New Years warriors! AMA if you'd like :)
