Highest weight and and all time low (25 F)

Hi everyone,

I’m writing this post to reach out for support and any advice. I’m 25 F and at the most busiest and stressful time in my life so far. I’m in the last semester of grad school and stress is high. Last year, I lost 35 lbs through keto and at this point I gained it all back and some more. I also got an eating disorder in the process. At this point, my binging feels out of control. It seems impossible for me to have any sort of food in front of me and control myself with it. I keep starting my journey over and over again and I feel like I fail harder each time. It’s so easy for me to give up and punish myself from the binge eating cycle.

I’ve tried healthy snacks, it doesn’t work. I end up eating what I’m not supposed to anyway. I try to count calories and I’ll be good all day and then I’ll binge before bed. Then I feel like crap about myself more and the cycle continues. At this point I feel like I’ve tried everything. I feel really bad about myself, I have lost all my confidence in my body, and looking at myself sucks.

Does anyone else struggle with severe binge eating? What has helped you? How do you love yourself while at the same time become healthier and be patient with yourself?
