Just a little motivation post for all of you! 10 lbs might not seem like a huge accomplishment for some, but it is for me. Especially since I started with a normal weight BMI (a high one though). Since I started this journey about 2 months ago, I lost about 5kg of weight and was able to build some muscle while losing fat. I survived the holiday festivities and some days staying with friends where our diet basically consisted of junk food.
I don't see much of a difference visually yet, but I definitely feel healthier and more energized. I feel more comfortable in my clothes. For the last 10 years I always thought I was doomed to be in a body I hated, forever. That I couldn't change anything. Now I know better.
I'm surprised by my own dedication and healthy mindset. I've been eating the healthiest way I have ever eaten. But I'm allowing myself to snack on the cookies and other sweets I got for Christmas every now and then. The weight is still coming off with the calorie goal I have set. Slowly but steadily.
So I'm halfway there, at least in terms of weight. I still want the fat percentage down much more and work towards more toned arms and legs and that will take a while.
Still, stay strong, it's possible and you got this!
