F29 5'4" 225 -- Does anyone else feel like every day is day one? Everyone else is making progress but you're constantly trying to lose that first pound?

How do you stay motivated? In the last year I've worked out more than I did in the decade previous, and I ate better than probably ever. But no matter what, I'm not losing any weight. The reasons (birth control, anti-depressants, thyroid issues) aside, it's so hard to constantly feel like I haven't made any progress.

I love all the posts in this and many other subs showing everyone's progress, and but it also just kills me when I'm still trying to just lose the first few pounds. It's about looks, but also moving easier and being more comfortable and not having my back and knees constantly in pain. I'm not ready to give up yet, I have a wedding dress to wear next year, but man could I use some advice on staying motivated.

Sorry if this seems like a pity party -- here's hoping for an inspiring progress post in the future!
