So left me start off with I am 34 year old female with multiple mental health "disorders" ( Bipolar 1, ADHD,PTSD,Anxiety, and Depression) . The kind of medications I am on caused me to gain 60lbs in the first year I went back on them a few years back. I was at my optimum happy healthy weight back in 2016 at 175lbs. In my first year being back on my psych medications I gained 60lbs in that first year. So... my weight for the past few years I posted below. Now I am by far saying I am eating a lean and clean diet as I honestly am not. I do swim regularly and do yoga a few times a week. But I really would like to start losing some more weight with diet and exercise. In my first two years I was still eating a low carb and high protein diet. But honestly I am unsure where to start at this point. Honestly at this point I really don't eat much. I normally eat dinner almost always but I am not a snacker or a sweet lover at all. I never eat breakfast and sometimes maybe a lunch but I almost always eat atleast once a day.
I'm hoping maybe someone else that is in the same boat as me can give some advice. My medication really kills me daily. It keeps me hungry and sometimes I don't always make the best choices. So I'm looking for hope, motivation and willpower to push through to be a bit healthier. Everyone who is on the type of medications I am on keep telling me they can't lose weight.... But I'm sure there has to be a way. I'm not a extremely picky eater but my 2 kids and husband are EXTREMELY picky and that is a huge demotivater for me. I am looking for a bit of guidance and motivation!
Please be nice! Thanks!
2016 - 175lbs
