Even tho I’m overweight, under normal circumstances I still have a genetically flat-ish stomach but since I started increasing my protein consumption (eating protein at every meal aiming for 1gr/ kg of body weight), my stomach grew like crazy.
I look like I have a fat stomach all the time. I look bloated, pregnant and just feel “tight” and uncomfortable. Not to mention gas.
It made me so insecure about my appearance I don’t feel like wearing anything tight fitting or leggings anymore because it looks like i stuffed a basketball in my pants .
I’m thinking of ditching this approach because this isn’t ok for me. I’m losing weight to look better and this defeats the purpose. I feel more insecure now 20lbs lighter with a huge stomach then I did when I was fatter with a flatter stomach.
Any tips on how I can make things better?
I know it’s bloating because I got sick recently and had to go on a BRAT diet so my stomach completely decreased in just 2 days.
