Required to maintain weight by doctors but want to lose more? Advice?

21F SW:165 CW:128 5’6

Hey y’all, so I recently have lost a decent amount of weight and would like to lose another 8-10 pounds. However my doctors have told me I need to maintain weight or gain if I want to stay on the medicine I take (despite the fact that weight does not effect my dosing, I checked, but anyways). I know they are professionals, but it is hard to wrap my head around the idea that I am literally not allowed to lose any more. I don’t know how to shift to maintenance or shift my mindset, since I never hit my goal and will not be able to. Has anyone else had to kind of give up a goal in this way?
