Need help to lose it 💪

Hi Reddit!

I'm a 22 year student, I took 80lbs in 4 years and i'm 250lbs now. I'm a little tall (6feet)

I just want to share you my thought and maybe you can help me to lose it!

I listened so many advices so I have a few questions!

  • Is that correct that you have to spend more calories than you take to lose weight? It seems to much to burn like 2/3k's calories per day!

  • I have a problem with quantity. I can eat 2 plates of rices or pasta (and I'm sedantary). Idk if its because I eat really fast, (5/10min is enough for me to finish) I can also drink a loooot of water (1L each time I feel deshydrated) So how do you deal with quantity? I tried once to do a low calorie diet but that makes me take 5 pounds in a week or 2!

  • Do you do cheat meals? My parents have a restaurant, so I used to eat pasta/ pizza everyday, and sometimes its disgutsing to eat like heavy food everyday, so I order a salad or something else. But, I really love food, I always want to eat the things I like and can't stop myself to rediscover each taste everyday! so how do you deal with this?

  • I don't find the motivation to lose it. Why? I don't know if I trapped myself but, I like myself as I am, I am not disturb when I see my body in the mirror. What I think is that it disturbs more people around me than myself. I'm not afraid for my health. I accepted myself as I am. Yes, if I lose the 80lbs that I took, it will help me to find a job easier, to get in touch with people without having the feeling that they noticed that you are big, it will helps to not hear "Oh you are losing weight" or "Oh you gained weight". It will help me to buy the clothes I want and it will help me to please my future soul mate I hope. So as you see, my motivation is not very self-concerned, and not that hard to move my ass and lose weight, what is your advice? What was your real motivation?

  • Is that normal at my weight that I never feel hungry, but just the urge to taste something? Sometimes I don't eat in a day and I had no problem with that.

  • What is your advice to keeep going? all of my previous diet doesnt exceed a week of trying, and they all failed

  • What exercices are the most efficient to lose weight?

Feel free to share your thoughts or your experience, I'll be happy to read you!

Thank you for reading!! (and please excuse my english, I am french hehe)
