My top tips to lose weight (went from 25 % to 13% and abs)

Before I got into fitness I really struggled with managing my weight. I ate only junk. Here's what I learned throughout the years. This will be long!

  • mindset is key: if you think "I will never be able to lose weight", you won't ever lose it. Believe me mindset is powerful
  • High volume low calorie: yes. Always think like this: how do I eat as much food as possible with the least amount of calories? The answer is usually huge salads with lean meat and sauce
  • learn to track: if you struggle on losing weight, it's needed. Get a food scale. It's work but noone said it would be no work right?
  • track everything!! Don't be like "just some tomatoes, don't have calorie anyway" it sums up!!!
  • try to not eat in restaurants or order food too much. Hard to track calories and stay on track!
  • allow yourself a cheat meal here and there but track it
  • flexible dieting: plan your day. You will have two beers with friends tonight? Well, plan ahead and leave some calories open or eat lower calorie. It's brain
  • low fat/calorie products: just use them, make your life easier
  • zero calorie drinks can help with sweet cravings: zero coke etc
  • don't have snacks or junk in the house! Important. Don't even buy it
  • Monitor your sleep and quality of sleep! Bad or short sleep makes a binge much more likely!!
  • eat high protein: always. Keeps you more satiated and your body will burn more calories in digestion
  • keep an active lifestyle: track your steps and stay active, also outside of the gym
  • stay busy; don't think of food all the time! Keep your mind busy or follow hobbies. Don't sit at home and stare at the fringe all day!
  • LEARN NUTRIENT VALUES of foods: look at the table of everything. You wanna learn about calories of foods, macros and so on. Really helps
  • don't try to crash diet. Hell you will fail on 1000 calorie deficits and bounce back
  • don't diet for Months without pause. why? Your metabolism adapts, you will get stuck. After like a month, Allow yourself a diet break (don't overeat, just maintain your weight), then get back

  • one that helped me sooooo much: learn low calorie recipes like protein ice cream, pancakes, french toast,... There are hundreds of low calorie high protein recipes on YouTube that taste great. Worth the effort!!

If you need more help or recipes, DM me I got an Instagram with a lot of stuff! Good luck!!!
