Fell in love. Started Powerlifting Put on happy weight. Losing the weight round 2!

Hi guys….this post is just to say that I am back and officially back on the horse as of today.

In late 2019- mid 2020 I used CICO to lose about 25lbs of weight. In October of 2020 I started powerlifting and used that as an excuse to go a little crazy with my eating. Also in that month I met my partner. In April of this year we moved in together. Now that we have been together almost a year I realized I’ve put on a bit more happy weight than I expected. I ordered a scale and Oops, back up to my highest weight.

I will say, this time the 155 on me is a lot different than last time. I have been powerlifting 2-4x a week for almost a year now, and have put on a good bit of muscle. A lot of my 135lb clothes still fit. With that, I do think it’s time to cut down some of the excess fat so I can reach my big goal: doing a pull-up unassisted. I know the 20lb extra is keeping me on the ground.

So this is day one of accountability (again). I will be eating 1300-1400 calories a day with the exception of holidays until I reach my goal weight. I will also focus on proteins and eating Whole Foods as much as possible. Any advice and words of encouragement appreciated!
