Eating less is giving me acne?

I’ve started actively trying to lose weight in the kitchen (not really exercising), just trying to eat less. I haven’t weighed myself yet because I’m too scared (seeing my weight on a scale is a huge trigger to me if I don’t like the number and I have given up losing weight and binged many times because of this). Although it’s only been about a week, I feel like something is different. I suddenly have 3 cystic pimples forming on my face. All on the lower half. They HURT, and not only that, but I have a blister forming on the inside of my lip too! Ugh. And here I thought eating less would mean less inflammation and thus less acne. I haven’t had this many cystic pimples on my face in a while (probably since January of this year!). What gives? I am not eating any more sugar than I was before dieting; I’m eating less. Why is this happening? Has anyone else experienced this?
