I went on a 4 day vacation two weekends ago. Although I didn't indulge in heavy eating I definitely was eating more than my usual calorie intake.
I've tried so hard since last year to lose and have been maintaining my weight to the best of my ability. I came back from my short vacation weighing 2kgs more and I can't seem to go down to where I was before I left and it's been over a week since I came back. Although I will admit that this recent weekend I had a good wine and cheese night but that was it.
So far I've only been able to loose like 500g and my weight will literally not go down unless I starve myself. If I have one single "non healthly or non low calorie" meal or snack it drives my weight right back up to where it was when I came back from vacation. I wake up in the morning, drink a cup of black coffee and boom my weight is literally up to the number I used to be after eating one meal pre-vacation.
Right now I haven't even had dinner and my weight is close to 1kg higher than my weight used to be after having dinner pre-vacation. I only had 2 ham toasts for lunch, a banana in the morning and 2 cups of black coffee since this morning.
I know all of this is not a lot but it's disencouraging when it took me so long and so much effort to lose weight. Is this water weight and what can I do to go back to where I was? This coming weekend is going to be 2 weeks since my vacation.
